Yellow-Tailed Black-Cockatoo Feather Bookmark

$4.95

The Yellow-Tailed Black-Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus funereus) is one of the largest species of parrot. With distinctive black plumage, yellow-banded tail feathers and a cheek patch, they’re easily spotted in the skies (if you don’t hear them first!), while they feed on seeds in native forests and pine plantations.

These uniquely Australian birds are often spotted in small family groups in native forests, woodland and pine plantations, where they feed on wood-boring larvae and seeds. They tend to congregate in larger flocks during the breeding season, from March to August.

This bookmark is printed on fine art, museum-quality paper.
Printed locally by a family business on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.

Bookmark size: 17.5x3.9cm
